Blue Beetle Examined Hero As Part Of Family

by Matthew Price, Features EditorIn the second part of a two-part interview with digital comics entrepreneur John Rogers, we look at the state of digital comics and look back at his work on DC Comics’ “Blue Beetle.” Rogers is also a writer and executive producer in television, with shows including “Leverage” and “The Librarians.” He co-founded digital comics company Thrillbent with writer Mark Waid. In 2006, Rogers worked with co-writer Keith Giffen to create a new version of Blue Beetle for DC Comics. “Keith Giffen and I created Jaime Reyes, and we were both very emotionally invested in it,” Rogers said.Read more on NewsOK.com
