George Stevens Academy is switching to remote learning for two weeks after an outbreak of the coronavirus there. Tim Seeley, the head of the school, sent a letter to parents Saturday announcing the transition and that second semester classes would start instead on Wednesday to give teachers time to prepare for holding classes remotely. Seeley did not say in the letter how many had been infected in the outbreak, but he told The Weekly Packet late last week that five teachers and 30 students were quarantining for two weeks after being exposed to the virus. The school’s nurse, Nikki Jaffey, notified parents on Jan.
