Boys Basketball: Union 71, Prairie 67

Tyler Combs finished with 20 points, Ethan Smith scored 17 and Union beat Prairie 71-67 in a back-and-forth nonleague game that was decided in the final seconds on Wednesday night at Prairie High School. The Falcons trailed by four heading into the fourth and took the lead with five minutes to play. Smith hit a contested 3-pointer to put the Titans ahead one with 1:08 to play. “Our guys played with some urgency, it was good to see that,” Union coach Blake Conley said.
