A 33-year-old man pleaded guilty Thursday to attacking two people with a knife at a child's birthday party last year. Miguel Hernandez-Solorzano of Des Plaines pleaded guilty to attempted first-degree murder and aggravated battery in connection with the October 2017 attack. Hernandez-Solorzano faces penalties that range from six to 30 years in prison.
