A briefcase left unattended at Congressman Kerry Bentivolio's Commerce Township office Friday afternoon led to a scare after employees called police about what they thought was a suspicious package.At around 1:45 p.m., Bentivolio and other employees returned from lunch and saw the package, said Matt Chisholm, Bentivolio's communications director.
