The team is expected to exercise the cornerback’s fifth-year contract option worth $8.526 million, an NFL source confirmed, keeping the 24-year-old with the Broncos until 2019, barring major injury. The deadline to make it official is May 3. The option is afforded to only first-round draft picks after the first three years of their rookie deal.
