NEWINGTON, Conn. (AP) — The Connecticut Department of Transportation is encouraging Hartford Marathon runners and spectators to use the bus-only corridor. However, the Saturday race, which includes a half- and full-marathon course, will significantly affect the operation of CTfastrak and buses operating as part of CTtransit. Riders are advised to be aware of bus routing changes and expect longer travel times. The bus-only corridor between Hartford and New Britain opened in late-March. For all transit updates and a full listing of travel information surrounding this Saturday's downtown Hartford events, visit www.cttransit.com.
