BYUtv has greenlit sci-fi series “Extinct,” hailing from “Ender’s Game” author Orson Scott Card and writer Aaron Johnston, Variety has learned exclusively. “Extinct” marks BYUtv’s second scripted series, following “Granite Flats.” “Extinct” takes place 400 years after the extinction of the human race and follows a small group of humans who are revived by an alien civilization.
