California Employers Keep Adding Jobs

In a sign that the state's struggling labor market may be strengthening, 14,200 positions were added by employers in April, the second straight month of expansion. With more people looking for work, the state unemployment rate remained steady at 12.6%. Employers added jobs their payrolls for the second month in a row in April, an encouraging sign that California's frigid labor market may be thawing.
