Though 10-year-old Scott Simms said he wasn’t looking forward to the upcoming school year, he was one of many children who attended the I Heart Canyon Festival on Wednesday evening. Scott, who is starting fifth grade, got his curly hair chopped at the festival. Sarah Simms, Scotts’ mother, said a coworker told her about the event. “They really planned this out,” Sarah Simms said.
