Car Crashes Though Back Yard In North Colorado Springs

"I didn’t know what was going on, or how it happened, why did it have to happen at my house." Those are the words of Tanya Blackwell, a Colorado Springs woman who found a large SVU crashed into her back yard. Police tell 11 News an elderly driver likely had health problems while driving east bound on Briargate near Union and lost control, speeding up onto the sidewalk and blasting past the fence. “There doesn’t appear to be any damage inside the house but there is a skid mark that will have to get taken care of for sure but it didn’t crack onto the siding...like they were driving on the side of the house,” Blackwell added.
