A car heading north on Interstate 5 this morning left the freeway and crashed into a tree. The crash occurred just after 6 a.m. near the exit for state Highway 502, the exit to Battle Ground. Clark County Fire & Rescue spokesman Tim Dawdy said the car veered off the east side of the freeway and hit a tree, which flipped the car onto its top.
