A car rolled over and landed on its roof in a retention pond Friday afternoon, authorities said. At 3:18 p.m. Friday, a woman was exiting Interstate 90 on the southbound Route 47 ramp when she lost control and flipped over into a pond, Illinois State Police said. The woman was freed from the car and is in fair condition, according to a news release. Illinois State Police officials were not available for comment Friday.
