AKRON: A card game ended early Monday night when an armed intruder forced his way inside a West Side home and robbed the occupants.Several people were playing cards in an apartment in the 700 block of Crane Walk shortly before midnight when an argument erupted and one of the males involved left, Akron police said.Within minutes, a man wearing a sweatshirt with the hood tied tightly around his face forced his way inside, pulled out a handgun and demanded all of the players’ belongings.The man fled with about $400 in cash, a purse, a cellphone, credit cards and IDs.The man is described as a black male about 6 foot tall weighing about 160-170 pounds and wearing a gray-hooded sweatshirt and black pants.There were four small children in the apartment during the robbery, police said.No injuries were reported.Anyone with information is asked to contact the Akron Police Department at 330-375-2490.Information may also be provided anonymously by calling Summit County Crimestoppers at 330-434-2677.
