When it comes to keeping quagga mussels out of the water supply, the Casitas Municipal Water District (CMWD) is playing it safe. The local water purveyor has hired a team of experts at RNT Consulting Inc. to draw up a comprehensive assessment of the danger, and to create a plan for preventing quaggas from entering Lake Casitas.
