The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has reportedly taken down advice for doctors on prescribing a controversial anti-malarial drug to treat COVID-19 patients. Hydroxychloroquine and its analog chloroquine has been used experimentally on coronavirus patients as there is currently no specific drug or vaccine against the disease.
