(Associated Press) Charlotte-area home prices continued to decline in August as prices showed weakness in most major metropolitan areas, according to a closely watched index released today.Prices in the metro area fell 0.4 percent from July, according to the &/Case-Shiller Home Price Index. Home prices declined in 15 of the 20 market areas the index tracks.
