Chicago To Redevelop What Would Have Been Olympic Village

The city bought the 49-acre site in the Bronzeville neighborhood in 2009 after the closure of a hospital there. Besides the Olympics, the site had also been talked about as a possible location for the Obama presidential library, though that will be located elsewhere in Chicago.
