MIDDLETOWN >> Chick-fil-A on Saturday joined the list of stores to have closed their doors in anticipation of the final days of the Granite Run Mall.One of the mall's initial tenants, along with Margaret Kuo's Peking restaurant, Chick-fil-A opened the eatery on Aug. 21, 1974, bringing with it, the original chicken sandwich topped with a pickle and tucked inside two buns.
