The suicide of Soundgarden’s frontman, Chris Cornell, in May was a tragic blow to the world of music. In honor of his passing, a tribute concert is scheduled for Friday, June 30, at Slim’s, featuring music from Rusty Chains, a Soundgarden cover band, along with Pearl Jam tribute band Corduroy. A portion of the proceeds will go to San Francisco Suicide Prevention.
