Chrono Trigger Could Have Been A Series

Chrono Trigger designer Hironobu Sakaguchi wanted Chrono Trigger to blossom into a series. At the PAX Prime panel "Hironobu Sakaguchi Reflection: Past, Present, Future of RPGs," the designer explained through a translator that he hoped it could "evolve into something like a Final Fantasy." "We wanted to continue it as a series," Sakaguchi said (via Polygon).
