Cisco Is Cutting More Than 180 Jobs In Boxborough

California-based networking giant Cisco (Nasdaq: CSCO) this week said it will cut 182 jobs at its Boxborough facility as part of its previously announced layoffs. Cisco has approximately 1,580 employes in Massachusetts, with a majority of those jobs in Boxborough. In August, the company said it would cut 6,000 jobs or 8 percent of its global workforce, but it had not identified how many cuts would take place in Massachusetts at the time.
