There are big improvements to driving conditions on main roads in the Portland-Vancouver area due to a lack of precipitation overnight Friday, but the colder temperatures will stick around for at least today. The National Weather Service says patchy fog is expected before 10 a.m. and there’s a 50 percent chance of snow thereafter in the Vancouver area. Cloud coverage will increase and the temperature may reach 38 degrees as Friday continues, according to the weather service. Vancouver was one of four areas that tied record lows for Feb.
