There are big improvements to driving conditions on main roads in the Portland-Vancouver area due to a lack of precipitation overnight Friday, but the colder temperatures will stick around for at least today. The National Weather Service says patchy fog is expected before 10 a.m. and there’s a 50 percent chance of snow thereafter in the Vancouver area.
