A 22-year resident of Clarkston with two children in local schools recently joined the community's Board of Education, filling the spot left vacant when former Trustee Joan Patterson resigned.Gregory Need, a Bloomfield Hills-based lawyer, was named earlier this month to the school board.Need, who has a son and a daughter who attend Clarkston Community schools, said in his interview that he supports limited open enrollment and would be willing to support issues that may not be popular with certain stakeholders.
