Clevleand County Crop Walk Benefits The Needy

BY SHARLA BARDIN FOR THE OKLAHOMANNORMAN — Faith groups, families and friends came together for a walk in Norman to raise awareness about hunger and poverty. The Cleveland County CROP Walk on Sunday was part of a nationwide awareness effort. CROP stands for Communities Responding to Overcome Poverty, and the walk has taken place in Norman for more than 30 years. "It's the community coming together from the youngest to the oldest," said Jane Pennington, who serves on the event committee.Read more on NewsOK.com
