As previously reported, the proposal from Studer Community Investment for parcels 3 and 9 — the two smallest parcels at the park — would have immediately began paying more than $50,000 in rent annually to the city. Plans for development included a potential child care center, a sports museum, a sunset deck and expanded facilities for use by the Blue Wahoos.
