For the first time since Coca-Cola Field opened 26 years ago, a large section of seats in the downtown ballpark will be replaced this off-season. Mayor Byron Brown and Buffalo Bisons officials confirmed approximately 3,700 seats in the lower bowl — roughly dug out to dug out — will be replaced, with newer and wider seats. Gone will be the now-faded and well-worn red seats that were installed just before the ballpark opened in 1988. The new seats will be green in color. Work will begin shortly…
