Rocky Mountain Health Care Services plans to consolidate to expand. The nonprofit marked the start of a $6.3 million renovation project inside the old Doctor's Hospital and Eisenhower Hospital on Wednesday, a crucial step in pulling much of its operations under one roof while expanding care to brain injury patients and people ages 55 and older. Once completed in June, the project should allow the provider to better handle the expected "silver tsunami" of aging Baby Boomers seeking coordinated care allowing them to remain living at home.Read more on Colorado Springs Gazette
