After a light dusting of snow overnight Sunday, the Colorado Springs area will see temperatures progressively warming up this week, according to the National Weather Service in Pueblo. The weather will start clearing Tuesday with a gradual warming trend, the weather service said. A high of 30 degrees Monday will rise to 41 degrees Tuesday, and by Friday the area could see a high of 53 degrees. Normal temperatures for this time of year are 45 for the high. It'll be a nice dry week, said the weather service. But don't get out the beach gear just yet, the weekend temperatures will fall to what still will be a heat wave in comparison with the past few days - highs will be in the low 40s.
