An MLS original side may be on the move to Austin in 2019, according to SI's Grant Wahl and the Columbus Dispatch's Michael Arace.According to the report by Arace, the Crew owner Anthony Precourt has become frustrated with the team's lack of revenue and declining attendance and has entertained the move to the state capital if a deal for a downtown stadium cannot be reached. The group reportedly is close to a deal with the University of Texas at Austin to host games there in 2019 and 2020 at Mike Myers Stadium, where the women's team plays, before beginning play in 2021 in a new stadium.MLS has also trademarked "Austin Athletic" and "Austin FC", which may be another sign of the league anticipating the move.Precourt has reportedly declined offers from Columbus business owners to buy the Crew.
