Fans of the 1992 fish-out-of-water comedy My Cousin Vinny have always wondered what happened to the characters played by Joe Pesci and Marisa Tomei when they rode off at the end of the film. Author Lawrence Kelter is attempting to provide the answer. The Brooklyn attorney obtained the rights and absolution from screenwriter Dale Launer, the Writers Guild, and 20th Century Fox to do a new novel based on the characters.
