The Challenge of Testing & Protecting Vintage U.S. Bridges

More than 600,000 bridges in the U.S are 20 feet long or longer. Some are over a century old and many of them national monuments. Three government organizations, including the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers, have joined forces to conduct a unique series of tests on bridge scheduled to be demolished.
