Gerald Wild II, 46, a former social studies teacher at Alden High School, was placed on probation Monday for three years and fined $100 by Alden Village Justice Robert Woods on his guilty plea to endangering the welfare of a child for having sent sexual instant messages to a 16-year-old female student between December 2011 and last June.Wild, who lives in Amherst and turned in his state teacher certificate when he pleaded guilty Jan.
