A spokesman for Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA) on Monday accused the State Department of trying to "blame others" for the fact it did not have an official event commemorating the first anniversary of the attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya last week. Issa's spokesman, Frederick Hill, was responding to a report published by TPM on Sunday that revealed there was no official event marking the Benghazi attack anniversary on Wednesday at State Department headquarters in Washington, DC.
