The property is Beacon's 15th property in Houston giving the company 2.89 million square feet of office space citywide. First Community Credit Union has provided $3.6 million in financing for Corporate Plaza II, a 117,000-square-foot Class C building at 7001 Corporate Drive. Martin Marietta Materials Real Estate Investments has purchased 133 acres fronting the Union Pacific Railroad and Loop 494 at New Caney in Montgomery County from Caney Properties. Martin Marietta, with its recent acquisition of Texas Industries, is now the largest aggregate supplier in the United States, with eight rail-served material yards in the Houston area. ICA Logistics, a servicer to the shipping and oil and gas industry, has purchased 5 acres at Fuqua and Cottingham Street. ABCO Beauty Supplies has leased 2,000 square feet in the Point NASA Shopping Center at NASA Road 1 and Interstate 45 South in Webster. SVAS Medical Supply has leased 1,500 square feet at River Park Shopping Center at the northeast corner of U.S.
