A 45-year-old Seattle man was ordered held without bail Monday afternoon in connection with a double-homicide discovered in south Seattle during the weekend. Pedestrians discovered two dead bodies Saturday along the Duwamish River in the South Park neighborhood. The man suspected of killing them also lived with them. The first death was reported about 6:29 a.m., when a 911 call came in from someone walking near the intersection of Eighth Avenue South and South Portland Street and saw a man along the river who appeared to have been beaten in the face and head, according to Seattle police reports.
