Some days, high school students Jazmine Jones and Marvin Rolle did little more than clean kennels or file paperwork for their summer jobs at Riverside Animal Hospital. But they also witnessed the heavy-duty days that go along with being a veterinarian. There was the baby arctic fox with a broken back that had to be euthanized. The cat that swallowed 23 hair ties and had to undergo surgery to remove them.
