The Augusta Museum of History will open additional days next month through September to honor James Brown. The extended days coincide with the Aug. 1 nationwide opening of the James Brown movie, Get On Up. In 2008, the The Godfather of Soul: Mr. James Brown exhibit opened at the museum. Nancy Glaser, executive director of the museum, said it has attracted people from as far away as Japan and Germany. read more
