A three-alarm fire damaged at least one home and was threatening others in Lafayette on Friday evening, officials said. The fire, which started at a home on Monticello Road, spread to neighboring wildlands, which prompted the third alarm, according to Contra Costa Fire Marshal Robert Marshall.
