The widening of N.C. 150, a project leaders in three counties have awaited for years, finally has received state money that will allow right-of-way acquisition for its first segment to start in 2014.Local governments along the east-west highway linking Lincoln, Catawba and Iredell counties already are discussing how to plan for the project together to maximize its benefits.On Thursday in Mooresville, leaders in the three counties discussed how they can coordinate right-of-way acquisition for the widening, plan for seamless development along the highway and make traffic flow smoothly.N.C.
