Winery switch: Owners of Amador Foothill sell to Lava Cap winery couple

Amador Foothill Winery, a key player in the revival of the Sierra foothills wine trade, is switching hands from one pioneer winemaking couple to another. Ben Zeitman and Katie Quinn check on their aglianico grapes, the newest variety on their Plymouth vineyard, August 26, 2008. The couple have sold the winery to the husband-and-wife team of Tom and Beth Jones, members of the family that established Lava Cap Winery.
