25 years ago today, a sitcom that would influence a generation debuted: Saved by the Bell. Though it technically ran a season previous as Good Morning, Miss Bliss, Saved by the Bell introduced the cast members that were missing from the old show: Slater, Jessie, and Kelly (and a location change from Indianapolis to California). Since its debut, Saved by the Bell has become a pop culture phenomenon, from its characters to its most memorable moments (Jessie getting addicted to caffeine pills being the most prevalent) to an entire generation calling old-school cell phones “Zack Morris” phones.
