Comment on Two injured in accident at Western and Paramount

Two women were taken to a local hospital after they were injured in a traffic accident about 11:15 a.m. Friday at the intersection of Western Street and Paramount Boulevard, Amarillo police said. A 17-year-old woman was driving a Nissan Murano east on Paramount through the intersection when her vehicle was struck on the passenger side by a Clairmont retirement facility bus traveling north on Western, police said. The driver and a passenger in the Murano were taken to a hospital to be treated for injuries that were not considered life-threatening. read more
