PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — A man shot and seriously wounded a Klamath County sheriff's deputy during a traffic stop Wednesday, and police were looking for a suspect in a black Jeep Cherokee. The deputy was shot in the face and taken to Sky Lakes Medical Center in Klamath Falls, then flown to OHSU Hospital in Portland, officials said. The deputy, whose name was not released, was in serious condition Wednesday night in the hospital's intensive care unit, Sheriff Frank Skrah said.
