Comment on Scores adrift on Lake Erie ice floe

Efforts are under way to rescue hundreds of people cast adrift on an ice floe in Lake Erie near Toledo, Ohio, officials said. Helicopters were participating in the rescue, said U.S. Coast Guard spokesman Robert Lanier, including those from the Canadian Coast Guard, the U.S. Coast Guard, Ohio State University and Monroe County.
