A Broward inmate sentenced for robbery and battery escaped from the Hollywood Release Center last month, the Department of Correction reports. Christine Hess, 37, escaped about 10:19 p.m. on April 26 and is still at large, according to a notice on the Department of Corrections website. The department is asking anyone with information about Hess’s whereabouts to notify their local law enforcement agency, or call the Department of Corrections at (850) 922-6867. She was sentenced in Feb.
