Amarillo and the surrounding counties should see plenty of rain over the weekend as remnants of hurricane Odile could drop as much as 3 inches of rain in some areas. Rain was already falling across a large swath of the southern Texas Panhandle on Thursday morning, said Andrew Moulton, a weather service meteorologist.
