Dennis Hopeless is at an interesting point in his career as a comic book writer. Just last week he concluded his Avengers Undercover series -- an IGN favorite -- and he is about to launch a new Spider-Woman series. You may have heard about the Spider-Woman series due to a controversial variant cover by artist Milo Manara -- read more about it here -- so you can imagine that Hopeless has found himself in a strange position that has nothing to do with the actual content of the comic he's writing. We talked to Hopeless about why Avengers Under cover was cancelled and how he managed to deliver a finale five issues early, and then he addresses the Spider-Woman controversy and tells us what the comic is all about.
