According to Chambers County Sheriff Brian Hawthorne, authorities received a report of a shooting at 11:40 a.m. at 6400 FM 563. Medical personnel life-flighted the victim, a 47-year-old man who was suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest, to Memorial Hermann Hospital.
